Another race meeting will be held tomorrow with a ten race card starting at 6.30pm.

After last week’s successful meeting dominated by the VOB Grand Final won by Label Chouan in a strong finish, where only a head separated it from runner-up Lady de Vindecy, the next meeting will be dedicated to the continuation of the Summer Championships, on a 2,140m distance.

The Premier class race is the main attraction, with 16 popular trotters, including multiple winners Nabab du Chatelet and Arnie Sensation, recent runner-up Maximal Value, past Tazza l-Kbira winner Kakisis, various horses returning from some months of racing break, such as Tygo Idzarda, Mont Cenis Honey, Lipouz Lesmelchen and Malin Roro, and newcomers Speeden and Shakira Trot.

We also have three attractive Gold class races featuring various in-form horses. The first includes horses such as Stefan Sufflor (a win and two places in its last three outings), Baron G.L. which won its last race, Oustiti d’Anjou, which won and placed in its last races and Natif de l’Hommee and L’Ideal de Fersan, winners of two of their last three races.

The same is the case in the other two Gold class races, which include recent winners Netter Williams, Victory Farming, Enjoy Kronos, Love Heart, Rambo Lambo, Side Spin and others.

The remaining Summer championship races are dedicated to the Silver, Bronze and Copper classes. These are also equally balanced, with everyone trying to perform well so as to acquire useful points leading to the selection of finalists in these league-based championships.

Apart from the Premier class newcomers, we also have seven other debutants, four French, two Danes and a Dutch.

No doubt another entertaining programme with a clear Mediterranean summer sky providing an ideal backdrop for a relaxing Friday evening.
