Trap shooter Jeffery Pisani took the lead in this weekend’s Selection Trap shoot where he managed 24, 25 and 21 on Saturday and 25, 23 yesterday for a total of 118 out of 125.

He placed first in qualifying for the barrage finals where he managed 20 out of 25 for a total of 138 out of 150.

Noel Attard placed second with 114 out of 125 in the first round, and with 20 in the final barrage, for a total of 134 out of 150

Brian Galea placed third with 115 out of 125, hitting 18 in the final barrage for a total of 133 out of 150.

Kevin Pace placed fourth with 109 and 16 for a total of 125, and George Cassar placed fifth with 109 and 16 for a total of 125.

Dr. James Galea placed sixth with 107 and 16 for a total of 123.

At the end of the tournament, MSSF President Saviour Portelli presented winners Jeffrey Pisani and Brian Galea with the medals and the Luigi Franchi trophy (photo above).
