Jhonnattan’s goal early into the match on a pass by William Barbosa secured his side’s triumph over the Andorran champions with the minimal score of 1-0.
This victory now placed Valletta into the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champion’s League.
Valletta beat FC Lusitanos with a record aggregate of 9-0.
Having obtained a comfortable lead at home alst week, Valletta controlled the match and were in no hurry to hit on targe.
Lusitanos on the other hand were more concerned with not suffering a consecutive humiliating defeat, rarely being offensive.
Valletta will now face Serbia’s Partisan Belgrade, with the first leg being played next Tuesday at the Hibs Stadium in Kordin.
