Eight teams from the Premier League will be taking part in a pre-season tournament for the AME Cup to be organised by JPL Sport Events and Luxol Sports.

The participating teams are Hamrun Spartans FC, Qormi FC, Sliema Wanderers FC, Tarxien Rainbows FC, Rabat Ajax FC, Mosta FC, Balzan FC, and Birkirkara FC.

This is the first tournament of its kind in Malta.

The tournament draws are to be held next Friday.

All the matches will be played at the Luxol Grounds, St. Andrews, between 22 July and 5 August (both dates included).
