Local Premier division side Qormi FC will probably have an Italian technical director this season.

Vito Giordano, who had spells at Nocerina, Juve Stabia, Cavese and Scafatese in the same capacity, was expected to have talks with the club’s CEO Matthew Fenech yesterday.

A report by Luca Esposito in TMW/TuttoNocerina.com, said Giordano was looking forward to commence his new adventure in Malta. Giordano was reported as saying that his main target was to push forward a project which would give youngsters a greater role in the game. He also revealed that it was possible for Qormi to open contacts with several clubs in Italy so as to get Italian youngsters playing in the Maltese championship.
