It is quite obvious that the strategy group of GonziPN has decided to use the same tricks they had used in the last few weeks prior to the 2008 general election − attack the PL leader viciously every day, even on matters where the blame lies with the PN!

The best example was the way GonziPN manipulated the Mistra affair in the way they had painted Jeffery Pullicino Orlando as the “victim” of Dr Alfred Sant’s insensitivity and “cruel” attacks on JPO. This has been admitted by Dr Pullicino Orlando, who later realised how GonziPN’s strategists had used him in such a shameful way, especially Richard Cachia Caruana who at the same time occupied the role of permanent representative to the EU in Brussels!

I was also amazed how the de Marco family issued the statement attacking the PL and One News for transmitting Richard Cachia Caruana’s recording in which he is clearly heard mentioning the late Dr Guido de Marco and his children in connection with the attempt on RCC’s life in 1994. If anything, I would have expected the de Marco family to turn on Mr Cachia Caruana and demand an explanation for the words he was heard saying in that recording!
