For starters, I have to say that I do like the new Air Malta livery. It is good that the airline kept the Maltese Cross, but I also like the fact that the new colours are bright and modern. Some might argue that it makes the aircraft look like a low-cost carrier, but personally, I think it looks good.
But, there is a but. I cannot understand how the new Air Malta uniforms are so classy and vintage looking when the airline’s livery has gone ‘fun’.
I love the new uniforms. The stewardesses look great and the male stewards look very smart – but does it not clash a bit? One understands that Air Malta wants to be ‘cool’ and ‘young’. Surely, therefore, the selection of uniforms should reflect the same philosophy.
The designs are both good, but it does seem that there were some crossed wires. Or was it a case of the uniforms having been ordered before the new management team came in?
