Sirens Swimpolo Nursery competed at the annual swimming championships hosted at Tal-Qroqq National Pool recently.
The National Championships were open to all members including the development squad swimmers, the competitive squad and also the masters and waterpolo players.
Thirty five Sirens swimmers took part. Personal best times were recorded for 75% of all swims. Some races proved to be exciting close finishes with millisecond differences between the top swimmers.
Apart from all these personal bests which help motivate and boost the club’s swimmers motivation, the club’s up and coming promising swimmer Jeremy Bugeja won 10 medals.
The club all the parents and volunteers who stepped forward to fill the many roles needed to run the championships and made them such a great success for all.
The Sirens Swimpolo committee also thanked coach Daniela Deguara for all the effort, dedication and professional work she showed throughout the hard preparation for this event.
