In a press release yetserday afternoon, the Malta Sport Council (KMS) thanked shooter William Chetcuti for his committment in these London Games despite a rather disappointing ninth placing.

KMS noted that Chetcuti has carried Malta’s name high, as he always does, when representing our country in competitions of the highest level.

Without doubting William’s skills and technique, the KMS hopes that these Games have served as sterling experience for the Maltese shooter’s future participation.

William Chetcuti is benefiting from a special scheme, with his employment in a special unit at the Malta ARmed Forces that enables him to carry out special training.

KMS also wished success to all the other Maltese athletes taking part in the London 2012 Olympics.
