As part of their preparation for their Euro qualifying group commitments Malta will be playing a friendly warm-up match against Liechtenstein.

Coach Ray Farrugia has called a provisional squad from where the final group will be chosen to do duty against the team from central Europe.

The friendly will serve to test the physical condition of the players as well as open the way for more tactical tuning of the team.

The match will be played played on the 14t August at Hibernians Stadium, with the kick-off at 8pm.
