I write to say a big, heartfelt thank you to the recently set up Administrative Committee for Marsalforn for fixing two metal steps that make it easier to get into the water.
I’ve been swimming in Marsalforn all my summers. However, lately, I was afraid that my swimming days would soon be over as getting in and out of the water was becoming a problem, despite the two ladders that had been put up by the Zebbug Local Council.
The tiny beach in front of the police station has been upgraded and has become a favourite spot with elderly bathers. The metal steps (not ladders) have made the area even more appealing as people can get in and out of the water safely.
Renewed thanks.
