We are not supposed to drive while using our mobile phones and the reason why is simple; it is unsafe.

Recently, it has become ‘fashionable’ for people to wear headphones while driving – and surely this is also unsafe. And I am not talking about blue tooth hands free sets either. I am talking about big, huge headphones that provide surround style sound.

Surely, the driver cannot be fully aware of what is going on around him or her if music is blaring into their ears. They cannot hear what is going on around them and they are all prone to being involved in, or causing, accidents. The authorities should book these people and a law should be passed banning their use.
