National coach Pietro Ghedin named his final 18-man squad for tomorrow’s friendly match against San Marino in Serravalle Stadium.

This will be the first clash between Malta and San Marion, where Malta will be looking for a historic third consecutive victories, after the victories against Liechtenstein and Luxembourg in the last outings.

Pietro Ghedin will use this match for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers where Malta will be making its debut at Ta’ Qali on 7 September against Armenia, and four days later the Maltese will travel to Modena to face Italy.

The squad which left Malta yesterday for San Marino is the following.

Goalkeepers - Andrew Hogg, Justin Haber

Defenders - Alex Muscat, Andrei Agius, Luke Dimech, Rodrick Briffa, Ryan Camilleri, Steve Borg.

Midfielders - Gareth Sciberras, John Mintoff, Paul Fenech, Ryan Fenech, Shaun Bajada.

Forwards - Andre Schembri, Andrew Cohen, Daniel Bogdanovic, Etienne Barbara, Michael Mifsud.
