Louis Facciol has just been appointed new head coach at the Marsascala FC nursery.

His target is to produce young footballers in the hope of eventually taking their place in the senior side of the club. His assistant will be Albert Mifsud.

The two, together with other coaches at the club’s nursery, are aiming to lead the club’s nursery to become one of the best on the islands.

Meanwhile the club is receiving applications from qualified coaches who would like to extend their experience at coaching youngsters in football.

The nursery is still in its infancy – only two years old – but it already boasts an encouraging number of youngsters.
