Actavis Ltd, is once again supporting its employees in their national sporting activities.

Actavis will be backing up Ms Michelle Vella Wood, a triathlon athlete in ‘Ironman Kalmar Sweden 2012’. Michelle Vella Wood had been crowned national individual time trial champion 2012 after competing in a series of events. She also recently won the final race of the Malta Cycling Federation season.

Actavis is also sponsoring Ms Oana Caruana Pulpan, member of the Maltese national Chess women’s team.  She will be heading to Istanbul, Turkey in August to compete in the World Chess Olympiad as part of The Malta Chess Federation (MCF) contingent. Oana was introduced to chess by her father at a tender age.  She also took part in the Turin and Dresden Chess Olympiads.

This sponsorship is in line with Actavis Corporate Social Responsibility for helping people in cultural or sports events.
