Italy boss Cesare Prandelli is set to make some tactical changes and include some new faces in the side after the 2-2 draw with Bulgaria last Friday.

He is set to switch back to a 4-3-1-2 system.

Reports from Modena say that the 3-5-2 will be benched, while alterations are expected in most departments of the team for the match.

Fiorentina’s Mattia Cassani is set to replace Christian Maggio on the right in defence, while Federico Peluso or Angelo Ogbonna will be included on the left flank.

Milan’s Antonio Nocerino will replace the injured Daniele De Rossi in midfield and Roma’s Destro should partner club mate Pablo Osvaldo up front.

Juventus’ Sebastian Giovinco, who started in Sofia, will be dropped.

Alessandro Diamanti of Bologna should start bhind the front two.

Yesterday the Italian squad trained in front of around 3,000 fans, most of them children from the sporting societies of the region, which suffered a lot earlier this year after it was hit by a massive earthquake.
