When I first saw our Prime Minister in Gaddafi’s uniform, I asked myself: where did Dr Gonzi get this blood-stained uniform from? Was it a gift from that tyrant when our Prime Minister visited him in his desert tent, but then I realised that it was a photomontage.
I also read that the PN had asked for an apology from Dr Rachel Tua who was accused of collaborating in this montage. Dr Tua is a new rising political star from Mosta who, if I am correct, is a councillor on the Mosta local council.
I abhor malicious dirty jokes, lies and defamations whatever their provenance, but let me continue on Gaddafi’s uniform. The uniform in this montage is very similar to the one the dictator wore when he was invited to address our Parliament surrounded by dozen female soldiers brandishing machine guns. When he addressed Labour’s political meetings, he had another uniform.
If Dr Tua is so keen on military uniforms, she should look for them at political H/Q, and I believe that she will find more who left their dirty bloody uniform there, like the ones of Brezhnev, Mao Tse Tung, Chou En-Lai, Kim il Sung, Ceausescu and more. Dr Gonzi never told us Maltese that we were Gaddafi’s blood brothers, Dr Gonzi never forced us to learn Arabic because of Gaddafi, Dr Gonzi helped the Libyan people to be liberated from this tyrant, he did not sit on the fence to see where the wind was blowing from. Dr Tua should remember this because it happened a year ago.
Dr Tua when you choose people, make sure you choose the right ones; there are still some around you.
