The Malta Basketball Association (MBA) has announced that expert coach Prof Maurizio Mondoni will be conducting a mini-basketball coaching course from today.

This will not be his first visit to Malta and he is looking forward to meeting all those coaches he met on his earlier visits.

The programme will consist of both theory and practice sessions covering different aspects of mini-basketball from age 5 to 12.

All coaches but especially mini-basket and junior coaches are encouraged to attend.

The course will also be very useful to PE students/teachers who wish to introduce basketball in their respective schools.

The fee for the course is €55 for coaches and €25 for students and juniors i.e. those who played in the U-16 league last season.

The course schedule is the following:

Today to Thursday 20 6pm to 9pm

Friday 21 and Saturday 22 9.30am to 12.30pm and again between 2.30pm to 5.30pm
