Pembroke were superior through the whole 70 minutes of play and found no difficulty in beating Attard by five clear goals, as they offered a very weak resistance to the numerous attacks by Pembroke.
The early pressing was created by Pembroke as they mounted two actions in a row.
In the 12th minute Pembroke opened the score when Darren Bartoli dribbled past an opponent on the left flank and after serving Dario Aquilina with a low cross in the area he scored with a low drive past Attard keeper Isaac Angileri.
In the only action by Attard, Matthew Grixti was fouled on the left flank and the ball was cleared away from the free kick by Gabriel Mifsud.
In another action by Pembroke, De Brincat dribbled past an opponent on the right flank and his cross in the area found no takers to apply the killer touch.
The score became 2-0 in the 17th minute when Buhagiar served Dmoruanzoe in the area and he netted with a diagonal low shot,and minutes later the same player failed to apply the killer touch from a very ideal position in the area after a De Brincat perfect cross.
The first two actions after the restart were created by Attard. Holgate dribbled past an opponent on the left flank and the ball finished out from his cross-shot. A corner kick by Nicholas Mangion created danger in Pembroke's area but somehow the ball was cleared away.
Dmoruanzoe was the fouled on the left flank and Angileri saved the free kick by Jamie Galea. From the same action, Angileri served Caruana with a long drop-kick who then served Grixti in the area and the ball missed the upright from his shot.
In the 51st minute Pembroke scored their third goal when Angileri handled the ball just outside the area and Dmoruanzoe scored with a hard low drive from the free kick.
Eight minutes later the score became 4-0 when Dmoruanzoe released Aquilina in the area and he scored with a hard low drive.
In a rare action by Attard, Holgate advanced on the left flank and Pembroke keeper James Ducker, who had an easy morning, neutralised the ball from his cross.
Just before the final whistle Pembroke scored their fifth goal when Galea served Dmoruanzoe with a perfect through ball and after dribbling past an opponent entered the area and scored with a low shot past substitute keeper Rugder Scerri.

St Venera managed to come from behind and win the three points after being a goal down in the first period. In the first 40 minutes both sides created very few actions worthy of note.Following this game St Venera are on six points from two games while Fgura have three points also from two games.
Fgura created the frist two actions, Sean Theuma missed the target with two free kicks.
St Venera reacted as Kurt Pace served Keith Schembri with a long throw-in on the right flank and Fgura keeper Glen Cardona neutralised. Later Cardona saved a free kick by Neil Farrugia after Ismael Alfalah was fouled on the left flank.
Fgura kept pressing but were foiled by St Venera keeper Joel Xuereb.
Fgura opened the score past the half hour with a choral move between three players. Carl Ciantar served Cachia with a through ball who returned the compliment to Matthew Magro in the area who netted with a low hard drive.
Just before the half time whistle Fgura came very close to double their lead when Theuma entered the area after beating a defender and as he served Magro with a square pass he failed to apply the killer touch with a gaping goal at his mercy.
St Venera were the better outfit after the break and dominated for most of the second half.
In the 53rd minute they equalised when Schembri served Mangion with a through ball in the area and after he was tripped Schembri made no mistake from the resultant penalty.
Minutes later Schembri was fouled outside the area and Cardona tipped the ball over the bar from Neil Farrugia's free kick. Kane Pisani’s shot from the edge of the area thumped against the bar and the ball finished out of play.
St Venera resumed with their pressing. After a flag kick by Vella, Gilbert Vella headed just over the bar and Schembri served Vella in the area and Cardona denied him as he dived at his feet and smothered the danger
Two minutes before the end of normal time St Venera scored the winner when Schembri served Vella with a through ball in the area and after he dribbled past the onrushing Cardona he placed the ball in the net with a low drive.
