Mr Borg Bartolo reaction to my previous contribution is indeed unsurprising and to be expected (TMIS, 23 September). As for me, I will not descend to the depths (or is it filth) that he has descended into. 

I would just like to point out that it would seem that because Mr. Borg Bartolo was not able to answer my arguments one by one like I did in my contribution, (except by alleging that statistics approved by Eurostat are unreliable), he deemed it appropriate to fling personal insults at me, despite the fact that his ‘hero’ is Our Lord Jesus Christ, and not Joseph Muscat, despite glaring proof to the contrary.

I can assure him that this was exactly the reaction I expected from him, considering his previous contribution. At this stage I feel that I should leave the final judgment as to whose arguments are the more sound to your readers and your readers alone.
