Malta’s Under 17 side guided by Branko Nisevic started with a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Norway in the UEFA International tournament being held at The Centenary Stadium Ta’ Qali.

Malta trailed by two goals by the first thirty minutes after suffering a goal in the first minute scored by Zymer Bytyqi, and another one on 27 minutes through Iver Fossum.

Three minutes before the interval Malta pulled one back through Jurgen Degabriele.

In another match from the same tournament Portugal beat Iceland 4-2.
