Maltese international Daniel Bajada helped his side ASD Fiaccola claim their first win of the season when playing their second seasonal Serie B1 league match.
Fac ing Astra Valdina away from home in Messina on Saturday afternoon, Bajada’s team imposed their superiority right away with the Maltese youngster narrowly beating Stefano Capri 3-2. In his other match Bajada suffered a 3-1 defeat against Angelo Bongiovanni. ASD Fiaccola went to to win the match 5-2.
ASD Fiaccola are now in joint third place and host ASD Tennistavolo Brindisi, who are still searching for their first win, on Saturday 10 November.
Bajada forms part of the Elite Athletes Scheme funded by the Malta Olympic Committee.
