The Mirror Works - a solo exhibition of paintings by Dominique Ciancio was opened last Friday in Gozo.

Following his graduation in History of Art (B.A. Hons) Dominique Ciancio (b.1983) has established himself as a full-time artist. He recently moved to Gozo after setting up a studio in Oslo, Norway where he lived for five years. The Mirror Works is Dominique Ciancio's third solo exhibition on the Maltese islands. 

Ciancio continues to work in a particular style of oil painting that throws a bridge between the refined and the illusive. Noted for his use of light, his works often depict human nature in an intriguing struggle between superficiality and truth. The exhibition, runs from the 2nd to the 25th of November 2012 at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, Gozo.
