As another old Senglean, I was most appreciative of Edwin Calleja's letter on the evolution of Senglea (TMIS 4 November).
However, for the sake of accuracy I wish to correct two of his facts. The first is that the old chapel he refers to, is not dedicated to St Philip but to St Julian, and very appropriately too since it was built in a hunting environment. The second concerns the "Jesuit church". Presumably, he is alluding to the church of Our Lady of Porto Salvo, with its imposing facade overlooking the harbour entrance and known to most Sengleans as the church of St Philip, which, I may add, is now being so efficiently run by the Salesian order
