Aussies in Malta are inviting all Australians and Australians at heart to another of their social gatherings when they meet again this month. The group is made up of persons that either grew up in Australia, have spent time in Australia or feel close to Australia, and will meet at Buskett Gardens on Sunday 18 November. The group was formed officially on Australia Day 2012 (January 26th) when 25 of them met for a typical Australia Day lunch at St Julian’s and their gatherings since then have included barbeque lunches of a weekend by the beach and meetings between them to watch sporting events live from Australia. Group organisers Anthony Micallef and Adrian Loughnan welcomed everybody to their next event, including newcomers who may not know anybody within the group already, and encouraged families to attend just as much as individuals; including Australians in their younger years that may be living in Malta for a year or two.
