MIDI reports subdued trading

Malta Independent Thursday, 15 November 2012, 16:58 Last update: about 13 years ago

There have not been any reportable material events and transactions during the period from 1 July to 9 November, the MIDI board reported in an Interim Directors’ Statement.

The performance of MIDI and its controlled undertakings during this period closely follows the pattern and activity as disclosed in the company’s most recent announcement on 27 August with a number of new apartment sales registered in the intervening period as well as continuing upside support to the operations at The Point.

There have been no significant changes to the financial position of the MIDI Group since the publication of the Interim Results 2012 disclosures.

The group continues to experience subdued trading conditions and the board maintains its expectations that the group will register a loss for the current year.

Nonetheless, project development planning of the Tigne North Phase continues to progress at a satisfactory pace.

Finally, the board continues to examine options that could lead to an improved use of the company’s existing capital resources.
