It was “commonsense” for local ICT company 6PM to enter a sponsorship agreement with newly promoted premier division club Melita FC for season 2012-13.

Speaking at the signing of the sponsorship agreement held recently at the club, Mr Ivan Bartolo, Chief Executive Officer, said that their newly launched applied knowledge base QuickFocus.com, which will be displayed on the shirts of the players, falls very much in line with the philosophy of the club to educate and develop children. “In the same way QuickFocus.com aims to build a bridge between Academia and Industry by offering users an opportunity to access the industry experts and tap into their experience, so does the club offer expertise to the hundreds of children who attend the club’s nursery and who have been developed into great players through the expert guidance of the technical team,” said Mr Bartolo.

“Like these players, QuickFocus will help students go from being really good to being great, motivating them to move away from their comfort zone, and to embrace change and self-development,” Mr Bartolo added.

Present at the signing, was Club President Paul Zammit, Club Secretary Matthew Naudi, Melita FC committee members and players and Ms Daphne Tabone, Group Marketing Executive, 6PM.

On behalf of the Club, Mr Zammit thanked 6PM for their financial support “without which the club cannot continue to improve the standard of our technical training and sports facilities. We also would like to encourage our players, coaches and the public to support 6PM and their products and services.”
