Middlesea Insurance is supporting the Malta Red Cross Society by donating money for the training of volunteers, capacity building, upkeep of vehicles and refurbishment of premises. The Malta Red Cross Society provides vital services in the voluntary field, both locally and internationally.

A donation was presented by Chris Meli, Chief Officer Human Resources at Middle Sea House in Floriana, to Janet Tanti from the Malta Red Cross. “It is an honour to support such a well-respected organisation and its committed volunteers who work relentlessly to assist those in need. This is just a small token to assist them in continuing to perform their sterling role in society. This initiative is part of Middlesea Insurance’s commitment towards being a socially responsible company in its practices. ”

Janet Tanti from Malta Red Cross expressed her gratitude to Middlesea Insurance for its continuous support through the years, saying it was through such support that it could carry out its work for the benefit of society. She also encouraged more people to volunteer with the organisation

The Malta Red Cross is a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society. It was set up in October, 1991 and has since played a vital role in assisting the most vulnerable.
