Tarxien Ursuline Sisters receives donation from Dhalia Real Estate Services

It can be difficult to get by in today's digital world without a PC. Surprisingly though, only around 65% of Europe's population is connected to the Internet. Dhalia Real Estate Services understands the importance of having computers in our Digital Age, and has donated five complete PC systems to the Tarxien Ursuline Sisters.

The Ursuline Sisters were inspired by St Angela Merici who directed a number of young women, known as “The Company of St Ursula”, for 70 years. The congregation was subsequently set up in Malta by Mgr Isidoro dei Conti Formosa in 1887 with the aim of taking care of poor and abandoned children.

"At Dhalia, because we deal in property, we understand the importance of good foundations," Chairman and CEO Chris Grech said. "We can clearly see that the Ursuline sisters are providing solid foundations for a number of children who come from troubled backgrounds, helping those kids to build better lives. And we are very proud to contribute to that cause.

"In addition, although Christmas might be close and is a traditional time for giving, we would urge other individuals and companies to help organizations, such as the Ursuline Sisters, throughout the year. The care and attention these dedicated women offer to the children in the care does not begin and end at Christmas, but is given all year round - and we should do the same," Mr. Grech concluded.

The Tarxien Ursuline Sisters is located at 5, Manwel Buhagiar Street, Tarxien. They can be contacted on 21677992 or 21672693.
