The release of Roland Emmerich’s film 2012 has popularised this date on a planetary scale. As awareness of 2012 becomes an event of mass consciousness, we begin to sense something of the greatest magnitude, a veritable world shift. Many books were written on the significance and meaning of the Mayan calendar.

The Mayans were a culture that studied the esoteric movement of the heavenly bodies, and they were the best timekeepers ever. Their calendars are an accurate map of the cycles of the cosmos and a record of the evolutionary time-line of the earth. They had 17 different calendars − a span of 10 million years. The most important are the Haab (Earth − 5125 years of history), where they calculated when the earth crosses the galactic equator and aligns to the centre of the galaxy (Winter Solstice 2012 & Maximum Solar Flare) – the final purification and the birth of the Fifth Sun.

There were other cultures that talked about this period in human history and 2012. The Aborigines − The Great Remembering, the Hopi Indians − The Days of Purification and the emerging of the Fifth World, The Incas − The Time of Taripay Pacha – the Age of Meeting Ourselves Again, the Q’ero of Peru − The junction of The Fifth Level of Human Consciousness, the Hopi – We are the ones we have been waiting for, the Maori of New Zealand, the Zulus of Africa, the Kahunas of Hawaii, the Eskimos of Alaska, the Shintos of Japan, the Hindus of India all predict great changes and the encounter with ourselves.

Both the Mayan glyph and the Egyptian list of Kings finish with a blank cartouche. It is as if the time after 2012 has not yet been conceived. This is the time when we ‘people’ of the world write our own cartouche (story). We are now in charge of our destiny and we are to write our story beyond 2012 – the new story of the 5th Root Race. This will be the time of the ‘will of the people’. 

So what’s really happening? We are completing 26-thousand-years of the Galactic cycle. We are cosmically at the end of one cycle and at the start of a new one in the continuous spiral of life. We are no longer in the world of the 4th Sun, and not yet in the world of the 5th Sun − a zone of ‘overlap’ between two different systems of evolution – that of Duality & Polarity and that of Oneness. We are in-between time – “in transition” and “at a crossroad”. So, 2012 is a ‘signpost’ we have arrived at! It is a new beginning, and “not” an end of the world or of human life. It is time of transformation and completion.

The whole universe is in a state of drastic reorganisation. Humanity is doing a quantum leap in consciousness. The earth will continue and so will humanity, but we will carry on with our lives in a different way. We will start perfecting all the levels of energies that came our way over the last 20 years, and we will learn how to utilize them and how to find new ways of being to create something new and something better.

Our role today is to release all karmic patterns, past conditionings, beliefs systems and feelings of lack and unworthiness, and all constraints that held us back for all these centuries. It’s time to find the courage to speak our truth that lies within the heart. Truth must be expressed and spoken, and we are seeing this phenomenon all around the world. It is time to listen to our heart wherein all wisdom, all knowledge and all balance lie, and to treasure small things and deeds.
