BOV employees have once again taken up the challenge and joined the runners and walkers in this year’s President Charity Fun Run in aid of L- Istrina 2012 Campaign held today, Sunday, the 2nd of December. This year the BOV group was made up of well over  than 800 runners and walkers. The foyer in the BOV Centre was bubbling with life as  family and friends  met here to join Mrs Margaret Abela and the walkers in the President's 4th edition of the President's Charity Fun Run. This was the largest group of employees to participate in the President's Charity Fun Run to date.

Participants filled the streets from San Anton to Valletta in the fourth - and biggest - President's Charity Fun Run in aid of l-Istrina this morning.

The fun run left from San Anton Palace, with the joggers running behind President George Abela, who launched the event four years ago.

A number of bands played merry tunes along parts of the route as the sea of participants passed by on the 7km route. Confetti was thrown from balconies at the cheering participants in Hamrun.

Several hundred people who opted not to jog joined the event in a walk from Sta Venera.
