On Thursday, 8th November Megabyte in collaboration with HP held the seminar titled, ‘Peace of mind with HP’ at The Intercontinental in St. Julian’s.

The seminar was opened by Megabyte’s CEO, Rainer van Beckum and followed with presentations from Patrick Diaz HP EG CDG SMB & Channel Sales Manager at HP and Ing. Ivan Muscat, Head of Engineering and Infrastructure Business Unit at Megabyte.

The seminar revolved around HP’s innovative and industry-leading storage technologies, that is, HP 3PAR Storage Systems, HP StoreOnce Technology and HP Proliant Servers G8. Mr. Diaz and Ing. Muscat explained how data is one of a company’s most valuable assets, so why put it unnecessarily at risk? Nowadays, an organisation cannot afford to use storage designed for the needs of 10 years ago. Hence, in order to respond effectively to the exploding demand for applications, data, and digital content, organisations need the support of HP’s intelligent technology, which is built for the challenges of an uncertain economic and business environment. Hence, as IT challenges and complexity increases so does risk. For this reason, HP offers its clientele the opportunity to improve and extend the standard warranties for their HP products. The standard warranty is generic to the product and not aligned with the customer's needs. The HP Care Pack Services offer solutions that enhance or extend the original warranty period of a company’s HP products.
