If you are not yet muttering famous Christmas tunes, you can count on Le Méridien's Christmas portfolio to feed your imagination and leave you craving for the upcoming festive season. Indeed, on Friday 30th of November, Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa has officially launched its enticing Christmas festivities with a fantastic evening-do, where media key players, VIP clients and patrons were the first ones to experience the hotel's creative Christmas concept.
This year, the hospitality team of Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa in Balluta Bay has built its Christmas outlook around the unifying theme of music. A heartening choice that offers the great faculty of gathering crowds, whilst leaving the hotel ample space to elaborate their menus and Christmas decoration in an enchanting, yet captivating way. Here, the usual Christmas functions promise to deploy into perfect “orchestrations” and each piece of the concept pledges to be a vibrant medley of Christmas memories.
The mission statement of the concept presented in Le Méridien Christmas brochure is indeed very inspiring. The 5 star property commits to strike the chord of their guests's expectations, providing a sweet-sounding ambiance favourable to the magical atmosphere of Christmas. Impeccable service, creative cuisine and unique experiences seem to be on top of the hotel's priority list – or should we say music sheet?
“Our Christmas Launch last friday went extremely well”, explains Melissa Caruana, Marketing Executive at Le Méridien St Julians. “A few of our Creative Ambassadors, namely Edward Mercieca, Renzo Spiteri and Marie-Thérèse Vassallo, have gone out of their way to help us make this event a particularly enjoyable one, with live percussions and live singing. The ambiance was perfect and our guests danced the night away, embracing the atmosphere of the great décor in place. Also, our kitchen brigade prepared an amazing giant Christmas cake shaped like a grand piano! Portions of the cake were being sold to all visitors throughout this last weekend and all proceeds collected will go to l-Istrina.”
Ana Nogueira, Room Division Executive, thoroughly assisted by the maintenance team of the hotel, has carefully and frantically prepared appropriate “christmas outfits” to dress up each venue of the hotel: “We are delighted with the results. The place looks magical, and each outlet takes our guests onto a different musical journey! To give you an example, the decoration of our Reception Hall has been inspired by Mary Poppins, with countless umbrellas hanging down from a very high ceiling. I can guarantee that the whole concept will delight children and parents alike!”
So this Christmas, Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa is aiming at unveiling the perfect harmony, creating a unique Christmas composition with the instruments of a sumptuous cuisine, a creative set-up and a musical atmosphere that will reveal itself for all visitors throughout the whole month of December. In the meantime, and until Le Méridien captures the music of the night, we'll keep on mumbling these cheerful Christmas tunes. Because it is soon Christmas, after all.
