Middlesea Insurance is one of the main sponsors of the seventh edition of the fundraising event Paqpaqli ghall-Istrina, which will be held on Sunday December 9 within the grounds of the Malta International Airport and Lufthansa Tecknik.
Middlesea Insurance will be hosting its own stand during the event, where people can gain more information about the products offered by the company. Two roadside assistance tow trucks of Middlesea Assist will also be displayed on the stand. Those who visit the stand also have the opportunity to win up to €100 in One 4 All vouchers.
Paqpaqli ghall-Istrina is organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund and the proceeds of this event go towards l-Istrina. The funds raised during this year’s event will be presented on the live broadcast of l-Istrina which will be aired on December 26.
The highlight of this year’s edition will be the world famous Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who will be driving his car, McLaren Mercedes during the event. Another highlight will be the latest super car Ferrari F12 Berlinetta which was recently launched in the Geneva motor show. This is the most powerful road legal Ferrari ever built and can reach a top speed of 340 kmph. By popular request, the international motorbike stunt rider Angyal Zoltan, will also be once again participating in this year’s Paqpaqli ghall-Istrina.
Other main attractions include the Rosenbauer Fire Appliance Display, a challenge between an Airmalta Airplane versus the F12 Berlinetta, the All Wheel Drive Club Four Wheel Drive Stunt Show, a circuit of racing cards, taxi way sprints as well as a display of hundreds of classic, modified and American cars.
This year’s event is not just targeted towards motoring enthusiasts, and includes a number of activities targeted towards all the family such as a kids area, performances by some of the best local artists as well as a beauty area where a number of beauticians, hairdressers and nail technicians will be offering their services at a reduced rate, with all proceeds going in aid of l-Istrina.
