Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, has recently inaugurated its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its Ho Chi Minh – Dubai route.
Emirates started its daily, non-stop
flights to Vietnam from
Dubai on
4th June 2012 with an Airbus A330-200. To meet growing demand on the route, the airline has upgraded the aircraft to a
Boeing 777-300ER, with 42 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 386 generously-sized Economy Class seats, increasing passenger capacity by almost 50 percent.
“
Vietnam is one of the top emerging economies in
Asia, and
Ho Chi Minh City has been a significant commercial centre and popular tourism destination. We have been made very welcome since our launch here, and we look forward to further success in the market. The upgrade of aircraft on our
flights to Ho Chi Minh City confirms our strong commitment to
Vietnam,” said Salem Obaidalla, Emirates’ Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Far East & Australasia.
All classes of the new aircraft are equipped with Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system with more than 1,400 channels on-demand entertainment to choose from, including movies, television programmes, games, audio books and music from across the world. In addition to the entertainment, passengers can enjoy the delicacies from the exclusive menu served to them by Emirates Cabin Crew from over 120 nations including
Vietnam.
Emirates, which operates a daily flight schedule from
Malta to
Dubai via
Cyprus, has a fleet of 187 aircraft and is the world's largest Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 operator. The airline now serves 127 destinations in 74 countries on six continents.
