Incite Motion School of Dance is proud to announce that the Albanian star dancer renowned for his work on Italian television, OLTI SHAqIRI, will be coming to Malta to give specialised classes at the school.
Olti will be coming to Incite Motion in January. This is an opportunity for dancers in Malta to work with a professional dancer who not only comes from a family of world class dancers, but has also trained professionally as a classical dancer and evolved in all dance genres over the years.
Olti is well-known for his appearances on Amici, the performing arts program on Canale Cinque, in which he placed fifth in 2004. He is also well known as a guest artist with a number of dance companies and a guest teacher with various companies and schools.
The dancer studied dance at L’Accademia Di Danza di Tirana in Albania, at the Paris Opera Ballet and at l’Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Roma. He has also worked with renowned Italian and international modern choreographers including Raffaele Paganini, Steve la Chance, Andrè De La Roche, Garrison Rochelle, Mauro Mosconi, Marcello Sindici, Denys Ganio.
Olti has performed in Giselle and Don Quixote in Albania, and Carmina Burana, as well as Italian TV programmes which include Aggiungi un posto a Tavola, Per non Dimenticare , Quando la Danza è Spettacolo, as well as Centocinquanta on Rai Uno. He also performed in the Amici musical Footloose, and has since participated in other musicals like Calandrino , Roma Caput Mundi, Raffaello e la Leggenda Della Fornarina and I Promessi Sposi.
