I refer to my letter entitled “Television appearance denied” (TMIS, 2 December) in which I asked PN information director Frank Psaila whether, in the run-up to the Floriana local council election of 10 March an agreement had been concluded between fellow candidate Matthew Paris and PN information director Frank Psaila in the sense that he, (Paris), would be invited to appear on ‘NET TV’ discussion programmes seven consecutive times, whereas I, who had been a Floriana councillor for 12 years, was never invited to appear, (not even once).

I now publicly ask PN information director Frank Psaila: what is he trying to achieve, not only by needlessly castigating the party’s rank and file but, also, by causing offensive and rampant discrimination between PN councillors and/or general election candidates?
