It is quite absurd how Valley Road in Msida and the so called reservoir close to it, have been left in such a bad state of abandonment. As everyone knows this is one of the busiest road’s anywhere on the island and yet no one in authority has ever done anything to remedy this situation. The reservoir in reality is nothing more than a large open cesspit full of garbage, dirt and filth that spill onto the road whenever it rain’s. To be fair, the local council has been chasing the government for some time to do something, but to no avail. The problem seems to be that no one is willing to take action, with the result that, the people in the vicinity have to carry on suffering the consequences. As with everything else here in Malta, it’s almost impossible to get anything done as nobody is willing to take responsibility ever.
