Giacomo Puccini's much loved opera, La Boheme, will be screening at Eden Cinemas on 15 January, in an exclusive, one-night-only event, starting at 8.30pm. The opera, which unfolds in four breathtaking acts, will be shown live and direct from the spectacular Royal Opera House in London. English subtitles will also be screened in order to allow the audience to understand every element of the performance.

La Boheme, directed by John Copley, showcases an array of emotions, as it explores the tragic love story between Mimi and Rodolfo. Julia Trevelyan Oman’s beautiful set design paints a magnificent backdrop for musical sensations, including Maija Kovalevska (Mimi), Rolando Villazon (Rodolfo), Audun Iversen (Marcello) and Stefania Dovhan (Musetta).

Theatre lights at the Eden Cinemas will be dimmed for the show and sound enhanced in order to replicate the feel of a real opera house – but with tickets at a fraction of the normal price (and with no travelling expenses to see the show abroad). Watching the performance on a large screen also means that no moment will go unmissed, as every movement and each expression is shown close-up.

Tickets are priced at €23 per person, including complimentary parking, and just €10 for those under the age of 16. All those attending will also benefit from a 25% discount at InterContinental restaurants upon presentation of their opera ticket.
