CSB Group, in collaboration with The Malta Chamber Foundation, organised an accounting course held throughout the month of November 2012. The initiative that was part of CSB Group’s 2012 Training Programme led to positive feedback from participants attending the course which was delivered by Jean-Claude Cardona, a Chartered Management Accountant by profession.

Apart from presentations and the use of various forms of media, each session included a considerable amount of discussion time. This enabled the participants, who are employed in different industries, to share and exchange their experiences. With a particular focus on Budgeting, Costings and interpreting Management Accounts, reporting and basic financial analysis, the course led to each attendee to have different experiences and different takes on what is important, or less so, in their line of work. This course was also attended by Malta Chamber of Commerce members of staff and came to an end with all participants being awarded a certificate for their attendance.

This was the second course held since The Malta Chamber Foundation and CSB Group signed a training collaboration agreement. Participants’ feedback proved to be very positive with a hundred per cent of the participants surveyed saying that they found the training useful and would recommend it to others.

Mr. Jean-Claude Cardona who joined CSB Group in 2008 is a Chartered Management Accountant, and forms part of the CSB’s management team. He is responsible for the overall management of the Group’s accounting, treasury and budgeting functions and also the corporate clients accounting unit, managing a staff compliment of 11. Jean-Claude brings with him a wealth of experience in accounting and management hence complimenting CSB Group’s excellent customer-driven services by enhancing the provision of financial and consultancy services.
