Bank of Valletta is looking forward to receiving from the Malta Financial Services Authority the findings of the independent review of investors in the La Valette Multi-Manager Property Fund. The Authority said in a media statement on December 31, 2012 that they would be forwarding the final list of investors that are eligible for further compensation so that the Bank could then communicate with them.

Following the Authority's directive of June 1, 2012, the Bank stated clearly, on June 28, 2012, that it would cooperate fully with the MFSA and that it would compensate those investors who were not eligible to be in the Fund.

The Bank remains committed to do all it can to conclude this issue satisfactorily for the benefit of all concerned, once and for all.
