As of 1 January 2013 personnel changes took place within the BMW Group Malta. Mr. Christoph Svoboda (1967), who has up to now been General Manager of BMW Group Slovakia took over responsibilities as Managing Director of the BMW Group Malta.

His predecessor Konrad Baumgartner will assume a new role at BMW Munich.

Mr. Svoboda already spent 20 years of his career working for the BMW Group during which time he held positions as General Manager in BMW Latin America, BMW Group own retail store Vienna and BMW Group Slovakia. He is now looking forward to the new challenges in Malta, where he will be responsible for the Maltese and Cypriot Markets.
