A man and a woman were seriously injured this afternoon in a head-on crash in St Andrew’s. The incident took place at St Andrews Road at about 1.35 pm. It involved a BMW motorcycle driven by a 59-year-old Italian and a Toyota Vitz driven by a 26-year-old man from Qormi who was accompanied by a 25-year-old woman, also from Qormi. The woman was later reported to be suffering from grievous injuries.
