“We are very pleased to note that Euro V cars are being recognised as the most environmentally friendly vehicles and that measures are being taken by local authorities to protect our environment. Through the recently announced tax reductions, Maltese people are being given the opportunity to buy eco-friendly cars with the latest technology and safety features.”

This was stated by Francesca Mamo, Managing Director of UCIM Co Ltd, importers and distributors of the Fiat brand in Malta.

UCIM Co Ltd in fact, is pleased to announce that the new price lists according to the reduced registration tax bands as announced in last November’s budget are available as from today.

“The new tax reductions are based on Co2 emissions and therefore,  this very much concerns a brand like Fiat who for four consecutive years has been voted as the car manufacturer with the lowest Co2 emissions in Europe. Following these newly announced reductions, Fiat cars are now even more accessible and we can confirm that UCIM Co Ltd can now offer the lowest entry level prices in each segment,” added Ms Mamo.

In conjunction with the above newly announced prices, UCIM Co is also inviting the public to a month-long sales promotion where throughout the whole of January, all those customers who wish to change their current car by acquiring a new Fiat model will not only benefit from the newly announced tax reductions but also from the extensive discounts that we are offering till the 31st January.

The Fiat Panda Classic, originally priced at €10,600 is now priced at €9,900. The new Fiat Panda Pop which was priced at €12,000  is now priced at €10,750. The new Fiat Punto Pop which was €13,100 is now being offered at €11,300. The newly introduced Punto Pop High Level which features 7 airbags, parking sensors, bluetooth and more is being introduced on the local market at €12,500 whereas the Fiat Qubo which up to 2012 was priced at €15,100 is now €14,775. The iconic Fiat 500 Pop whose entry level price in 2012 was €14,160 has now been reduced to an unprecedented €12,600.

“From the youthful Fiat 500, to the sporty Fiat Punto and the great flexibility and dynamic features offered by the Fiat Panda and the Fiat Qubo, customers are bound to find that one model that appeals to their personal character, be they first time buyers, those searching for something unique as well as those looking for a utility car,” concluded Ms Mamo.
