Thomas Smith Group presented €10,000 to President George Abela on 8th January at San Anton Palace, which were raised in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.

Thomas Smith held a Charity Swim on the 30th December, with the objective to raise money in aid of the Fund whose remit is to help philanthropic institutions and more importantly, the individuals with different needs. Managing Director Joe Gerada said "I am very proud that members of the organisation together with participants have shown such solidarity and altruism by raising these much needed funds. I am glad that we were able to make a contribution to the MCCF, a very worthwhile charity" and thanked supporters Civil Protection Department, European Commission Representation in Malta, Sliema Local Council, Malta Red Cross, Emergency Fire & Rescue Unit, Giorgio’s Coffee Shop and Nestlé.
