It’s amazing, isn’t it – the Labour Party, excoriated over the months to come out with its energy plan, published it as soon as the election campaign got under way. It did not mind putting its plan under the gaze of opinion manipulators such as Lawrence Gonzi and Tonio Fenech.

And no one had a nice word to say about the PL for keeping its word on when it intended to make its plan public.

On the other hand, we have heard nothing about what the PN’s plans to do, and no medium in the press is calling on the PN to emulate the PL. I guess Simon Busuttil is a plodder, he cannot come up fast enough with the manifesto he says he is writing.

Let us hope that when he does deliver, we will have time enough to consider the PN’s ideas in depth.
