Annualized GDP for the US, as at Q4, was out at -0.1% compared to the previous 3.1% and the expected 1.1%. This data shows that the US economy contracted in the 4th quarter, this drop is being attributed to a significant drop in defense spending. This annualized figure of -0.1% is the worst reading July 2009.
