Hibernians FC have confirmed two new signings as the winter transfer window ends today.

These are Edison Dos Santos, known as Tarabai, who was the club`s top goalscorer last season, and Nigerian Obinna Obiefule, last year`s top goalscorer in the Premier League.

The Paolites hope their strike force will therefore be strengthened considerably as they continue chasing league leaders Valletta for this year’s title.

Jackson Lima agrees to new deal

The Paolites have also announced that Brazilian midfielder Jackson Lima has agreed to terms with Hibernians FC about his contract renewal.

The new agreement will extend his stay till the end of season 2014/15. The committee thanked Jackson for his already successful stay and wished him further success in the future.

Guy Bertand Madjo on trial with Valletta FC

Valletta FC are giving a quick trial to a Cameroon forward, Guy Bertrand Madjo.

He is expected to sign for the Citizens before the end of the January transfer market today.

Madjo trained with the squad under coach Mark Miller for the first time yesterday.

The Valletta FC website said the player was formerly on the books of English League Two club Aldershot Town.

The 28-year-old Madjo, represented Cameroon at U-17 and U-23 level in the past. He is a free agent after terminating his contract with Aldershot Town.
