Last year (or thereabouts) Culture Minister Mario de Marco said that the law against political satire should be changed.

Well, Carnival is almost upon us, so we will have to wait and see what happens. This year, we will be celebrating carnival in an election campaign atmosphere, so we wonder what will happen. There are bound to be jokes made and buttons pushed. Let us see if our democracy has matured enough to allow it all to happen.
