GlobalCapital has announced that Reuben Zammit has been appointed chief financial officer of the company with immediate effect.

Mr Zammit previously held the position of group financial controller of the company. In his new role, Mr Zammit will, together with the CEO, focus on strategic planning, performance management and risk while continuing to lead the group’s overall finance and control functions. He also heads the team managing the implementation of Solvency II.

Mr Zammit’s career spans more than 15 years of continuously expanding responsibility. He brings the expertise and track record of a successful professional, along with the hands-on business experience of a seasoned operations executive. This strong combination of skills and experience brings added value to the management structure of the company.

Mr Zammit is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants.
